CLIPFAST / TERMS

Terms of Service

These terms explain how ClipFast works, what you can expect from the service, and what you are responsible for when you edit or process media.

Effective October 8, 2026 · Version 1.0

Important: ClipFast is a beta editing service. Review every edit, caption, AI suggestion, and exported file before you publish it. Keep your own backups of important media and project files.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and the operator of ClipFast (“ClipFast,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply to clipfast.live, the browser-based editor, account and beta features, automatic transcription, and optional AI clipping tools together, the “Service.”

By joining the beta, creating an account, opening the editor, or using the Service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use ClipFast for a company or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for it.

2. The Service

ClipFast helps you trim, reframe, caption, add audio and effects to video, and export vertical clips. It may also analyze a public Twitch VOD or YouTube video to suggest moments for review. Features, limits, providers, and availability may change while ClipFast is in beta.

ClipFast does not publish directly to TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Twitch, or any other social platform. You are responsible for downloading your export and complying with each platform’s rules when you upload it.

3. Accounts and beta access

Some features require a verified account and beta approval. Keep your sign-in credentials and devices secure. Activity performed through your account may be treated as activity authorized by you. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You must provide accurate information, be at least 13 years old, and have the legal capacity to enter these terms. We may deny, pause, or revoke beta access when needed to protect the Service or enforce these terms.

4. Your content and permissions

You keep ownership of the videos, audio, images, captions, text, URLs, and other materials you submit or edit (“Your Content”). You are responsible for Your Content and for making sure you have every permission, license, and consent needed to use it with ClipFast and publish the result.

You grant ClipFast and its service providers the limited rights needed to host, transmit, transcribe, analyze, render, and return Your Content when you request a feature. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and do not use it for advertising.

Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, malicious, or subject to restrictions that you cannot satisfy. Do not submit private recordings or personal information about another person unless you have the right and consent to do so.

5. AI features and transcription

Automatic captions and AI moment suggestions are probabilistic tools. They can misunderstand speech, omit important context, produce inaccurate text, or select moments that are not useful. You must review all output before relying on it or sharing it.

AI processing may send audio, transcripts, public recording data, or candidate descriptions to the providers described in the Privacy Policy. ClipFast does not guarantee that any AI provider will be available, accurate, or compatible with every language, video, or request.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law, infringe rights, violate privacy, or breach a third-party platform’s terms;
  • access accounts, recordings, systems, or data without authorization;
  • upload malware, harmful code, illegal material, or content intended to harass or exploit others;
  • probe, scan, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure;
  • circumvent usage limits, share access credentials, resell beta access, or create accounts to evade restrictions;
  • use automated tools to scrape the Service or its users’ information; or
  • use ClipFast to generate or distribute content that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.

7. Third-party services

ClipFast relies on third-party services for authentication, hosting, storage, transcription, and AI processing. Those services may have their own terms, privacy policies, limits, outages, and charges. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

You are responsible for any account, subscription, model usage, or platform relationship you maintain with a third party. In particular, you must follow Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Google, and any connected AI provider’s rules.

8. Fees and beta limits

ClipFast is currently offered free of charge during the beta, subject to approval and usage limits. We may introduce paid plans, provider pass-through charges, or different limits later. If we do, we will communicate the applicable terms before charging you.

9. Intellectual property

ClipFast, including its software, branding, design, documentation, and original content, belongs to ClipFast or its licensors. Subject to these terms, we give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, sell, lease, distribute, or create a competing service from ClipFast except where applicable law gives you a right that cannot be waived.

10. Availability and disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLIPFAST DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, SECURITY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

We do not promise that an export will be accepted by a particular platform, that AI output will be accurate, that a job will finish, or that stored generated media will remain available for a particular period. You are responsible for reviewing and backing up important work.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLIPFAST WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, CONTENT, PROFITS, REVENUE, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLIPFAST’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID CLIPFAST FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR USD 50.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify ClipFast and its operators, employees, and service providers against claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of another person’s rights.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using ClipFast at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create a security or legal risk, abuse the Service, fail to maintain beta eligibility, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including content responsibility, disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, and dispute terms—will survive.

14. Changes

We may update the Service or these terms as ClipFast develops. We will post the current terms at clipfast.live/terms and update the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when reasonably practicable. Continuing to use the Service after the updated effective date means you accept the revised terms.

15. General

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. We may assign these terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the Service. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
